Home Creator, Developer and Publisher of CareManager Pro® / CareManager Home® & "Your Personal Health and Medical History ©" After a 6 year position as Vice President with CBI / Exquifax Credit Bureau in Florida Ross, a New York City native, with a background in finance and credit management Ross, in 1982, started his own company Concord Consulting Services, Inc.,/ HealthCare Financial Services in Orlando, FL, His new company provided services to private practice and hospital-based physicians in matters of business office, billing and accounts receivable management. He built his company to over 300 clients and it was his experience in this endeavor he focused on computer systems and software that was the genesis of his new endeavor. In the mid-80's (before selling his company to a physician’s group in 1996) he was able to turn his focus to pursue several creative endeavors and formed Producer's Hotline and Planet Media Group as a multi-media production services and development and software publishing company. However, having to suddenly deal long-distance with his father's medical emergency and care management (His father lived 1000 miles away in New York) he needed to better manage his father well-being and oversee care long distance. Ross designed, wrote and published "Your Personal Health and Medical History” organizer books and launched website: www.healthhistory.com to help others who are experiencing similar situations of a family member's health care management. In the course of development of the CareManager Home® software to help computer users create their own organizer books on their home PCs the endeavor evolved first into his company’s premiere release of professional software CareManager Pro® Since launching and releasing CareManager Pro® in August 2003 it has found enthusiastic acceptance and use by hundreds of professional geriatric care managers, health care service providers, nurses, social workers and guardians across the country to manage their client care and case management. Ross continues to enhance and improve the program through valued input and recommendations from his rapidly growing list of clients particularly client / members of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. The organizer books are available and on display on the website www.healthhistory.com and are endorsed and promoted across the country through display ads in newsletters from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Alzheimer’s Association, Children’s Diabetes Foundation, the Lupus Foundation and other health associations. Considering the health care crisis facing America with the “baby-boomer” population projected to exceed 70 million in the next 7 to 10 years, his books and software are ready to meet the care management challenge for both individuals and professionals. Ross continues to reside and run his company in Orlando. |
